Get to Know Me!

My name is Rachel, the redhead behind The Redhead Design Shop. Designing is something that has always come natural to me. Even as a child you could find me crafting or sketching something! I eventually streamlined my creativity into going into Architecture school! There I learned the necessary tools to go from designing to actually hand crafting projects.

I would not be who I am today, or make the hand made items I craft without going to Architecture school. From late night design studio sessions to learning the proper way to learn to use wood shop tools, it all culminated into this shop!

My shop started with digital downloads and has now flourished into a love of handcraft, one of a kind items. In 2017, I took a leap of faith and added the sea glass inspired table numbers to my shop. Fun fact, I actually made these for my wedding and they were loved by so many that I added them to my shop. From there my shop grew with more and more wedding decor, gifts and now baby decor. In August of 2020, we added a little one to the family. I guess it helps when new life events come along! They put my creativity into overdrive!

My creativity is something that truly sets me a part from others. I absolutely love what I do! I hope that you love my items as much as I love making them. Feel free to reach out with any questions or even just to say hello.
